Personally, rubbish has been a big headache in Beijing. As the year 20__ iscoming ,every citizen has realized Green Beijing and Green Olympics will bringthe far-reaching impact on Beijing and even all China . The scense of rubbishnearly everywhere has given all of us a really bad impression, and Im sure noneof us wish to show off the bad side of Beijing to athletes and journalists allover the world, for it would blemish the citys and even Chinas image and leave abad reputation. Now, we are middle school students. We must improve the sense of protectingthe environment and make a contribution to Green Olympics .
In our life, a lot of rubbish , such as waste paper, plastic bottles,batteries and so on , is produced every day . After we learnt the passage MakeOur Environment More Beautiful , we found a lot of rubbish thrown into dustbinscould be recycled in fact during our discussion. So we thought it would bebetter if we could classify rubbish . we told our idea to our teacher and hesupported us very much . We became volunteers to classify rubbish . Firstly wegot three big boxes and put them in a corner of our classroom . One is for wastepaper , one for plastics and Coke cans and the other is for batteries . WithTeachers help ,soon all the students took part in the activity of classifyingrubbish .In a month , we collected three boxes of paper , a box of batteries anda box of plastics and Coke cans .We sold them for 28 yuan and bought some youngtrees with the money . We planted the trees around our school . We were allspoken highly of by our school principals. Now we keep on the job and are allproud of improving environment .
The world trusts Beijing .Beijing still has a lot to do to reach the levelthe world expects, but we have the confidence to make Beijing a Green City.Great changes are taking place, and not far in the future, Beijing will be thefocus of all worlds attention. As is known to all , we have a beautiful world .We can see the sun shining. We can see the moon in a full view. We can see the birds flying in the sky. We can see the horses running on the plain. However, the world is not as beautiul as before, for human beings have brought a disaster to the world. So it is high time that we should do something to change this situation. As a citizen, we can do much for it. For example, we could use disposable goods less. And we are supposed to save resources such as water, electricity and so on. Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from whichsomething else can be made. It is very important to deal with the rubbish in cities. Rubbish must bethrown away or reused properly. Or it may cause a lot of problems. It maypollute the air and water. People may get ill when they breathe the polluted airor drink the polluted water.
Our city has started to face the problem. Some rubbish is sorted and sentto a certain place .Waste gas is cleaned before it goes into the air. Wastewater is also cleaned before it is poured into rivers.
People should be prevented from throwing rubbish everywhere. We should tryour best to take care of our environment and fight against pollution.
Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over theworld. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe andpoisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut downand waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, whereverwe go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact,threatening our existence.

Nature--Overpopulation
What is nature? It's everything that exists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earth and rocks, and the weather.
Now more and more people are focusing on the nature. It is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature, no life. Because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a long time. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And this lasted so long a time. Today, people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse and worse.
What is threatening the nature? Air and water pollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on. Overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation as an example.
What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city in a tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high and when the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with people. The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. People talking. People sleeping. People visiting each other, arguing and screaming. People relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxi windows, begging. People leading animals. People, people, people, people. As we drive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi's horn, the dust, heat, noise and cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit, frightening.
To the nature, overpopulation is a big problem. More people, more pollution. And the big population is threatening the nature every second.
The rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. The whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. People in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world's resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most pollution. A baby born in the United States will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world's resources than a baby born in India. Unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all.
For most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. For example, China has carried out birth control for years. And this plan has a great effect on the world population.
If the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we don't do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. Species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. Economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. By protecting nature, we protect ourselves.
Let's unite together, hand in hand we stand all across the land.
We can make this world in which to live. Hand in hand. Control the population growth. Take good care of our nature.

Things everywhere without thinking its wrong, even in a beautiful park. these things are taking place every day, even in modern cities like beijing. we cant do that any more. we must learn how to protect the environment. if everyone is aware of protecting it instead of destroying it, the world can become cleaner, more beautiful, and more peaceful. the theme of beijing __ olympic games is "new peking, new olympic". its the target owned by every chinese. we should try our best to improve beijings environment for olympics.

Nowadays, the environmental protection is becoming one of the most important issues in the world. Being one of the members of our society, what shall we do to protect the environment?
First, stop using plastic bags, boxes and bottles. Stores should be required to use the bags, boxes and bottles which are made from paper.
Secondly, more and more trees and flowers should be planted to keep our surrounding clean. People must be required to plant plants around their houses and work places.
Finally, we must control the pollution by law, according to which, polluted water and air exhausted from factories should be forbidden.
These are some of the measures that we can take to protect our environment and they are not hard tasks for us. Remember, the earth is the only planet we could live at present.
