The second place we are going to is the Great Wall. This is the only building, I hear, that can been seen from the moon, and it represents the diligence and the wisdom of whole Chinese nation.
Now, it’s time for lunch. We plan to have What? You say ”Beijing Duck”? Yeah, right you are! We’ll come back to the center of Beijing, and we’ll have dinner at “Quanjude” restaurant. You can enjoy the most delicious Chinese food—Beijing Duck, and you must be very pleased to hear this! Then I’ll show you around the Summer Palace. It’s the royal garden for the emperors and empresses of the Qing Dynasty to pass the hot summers.
After visiting those historical places, you’ll surely be impressed by the long-lasting history of our great country. At the same time, during the journey of moving from one place of interest to another, we won’t miss having a glance of Beijing’s modern civilization. The skyscrapers, beautiful avenues and advanced facilities must also catch your eyes. And we’ll also have a chance to experience Beijing’s fast development in person. We’ll do some shopping at the shopping center near the Olympics Village. You can buy everything there of course except guns and drugs which are seriously forbidden in China. To see is to believe. Everyone has his own dream, which can be realized or not and which can be different from time to time. However, there must be a long –term one in one’s mind. In other words, it is not easy to be realized. I have a dream: to pass CET-6 before I graduate from the university. It’s maybe easy for most of my classmates, but to me it is as difficult as cracking the hardest nut in the world.
I have been studying English for about 10 years. It should not be the No.1 task in my university agenda, but too many failures forced me to do so. I entered one of the most famous universities in China with the almost lowest English mark among all my students. I was really disappointed about that. Although I was not good at English when I was in the middle school, it was not at least about the average. I had no strength to face the frustration. After a semester’s study I was the lowest indeed. On the night of March 1, the 76th Annual Academy Awards was shown on television. After watching it, I had a dream, a sudden wish, that some day, I could receive an Oscar award, or a nomination, for a movie I've made.
While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school andI received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.
Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.
From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or
special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.
When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must notlead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, asevidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destinyis tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to ourfreedom.
we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shallmarch ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees ofcivil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long asour bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motelsof the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long asthe negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we cannever be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro innew york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are notsatisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters andrighteousnelike a mighty stream
i am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials andtribulations. some of you have come fresh from narrow cells. some of you havecome from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms ofpersecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. you have been theveterans of creative suffering. continue to work with the faith that unearnedsuffering is redemptive.
go back to mississippi, go back to alabama, go back to georgia, go back tolouisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing thatsomehow this situation can and will be changed. let us not wallow in the valleyof despair.
i say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties andfrustrations of the moment, i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted inthe american dream.
i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the truemeaning of its creed: "we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men arecreated equal."
i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia the sons of formerslaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at atable of brotherhood.
i have a dream that one day even the state of mississippi, a desert state,sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed intoan oasis of freedom and justice.
i have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation wherethey will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of theircharacter.

i have a dream that one day the state of alabama, whose governor's lips arepresently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will betransformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will beable to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together assisters and brothers.

i have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill andmountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crookedplaces will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, andall flesh shall see it together.
this is our hope. this is the faith with which i return to the south. withthis faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone ofhope. with this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of ournation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. with this faith we will be ableto work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jailtogether, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free oneday.
this will be the day when all of god's children will be able to sing with anew meaning, "my country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee i sing.land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from everymountainside, let freedom ring."
and if america is to be a great nation this must become true. so letfreedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of new hampshire. let freedom ringfrom the mighty mountains of new york. let freedom ring from the heighteningalleghenies of pennsylvania!
let freedom ring from the snowcapped rockies of colorado!
let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of california!
but not only that; let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia!
let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee!
let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of mississippi. fromevery mountainside, let freedom ring.
when we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and everyhamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that daywhen all of god's children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles,protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words ofthe old negro spiritual, "free at last! free at last! thank god almighty, we arefree at last!"
The world changed when James Watt invented the first steam engine, when Isaac Newton discovered the universal gravitation after hit by an apple, when Karl Marx wrote The Communist Manifesto, when Chairman Mao solemnly declared the establishment of the People's Republic of China on the Tian'anmen Rostrum, when Martin Luther King cried out “I have a dream”. The world was changed by something called dream, which is invisible, untouchable but strong enough.
I can assure that every child have written a composition titled My Dream. They have already written down their longing for the future. Some of them want to become scientists; some of them hope to become teachers or doctors. Maybe they didn’t know how many difficulties they will face before their dream come true. But the dreams are like small seeds planted in their hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.
Dream is the fountain of strength. Dream is the support of faith. Dream is the Polaris. Dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. One of my friends told me that dream will never discard anyone! Yes, maybe one day everything is gone but dreams is still there with you, eternally.
Dream changed us, and therefore we changed the world. It is dream that refreshes the world every day. It is also dream that makes the world improve day by day. We dare to dream. We can also achieve our dreams and change the world.
I can’t imagine the world without dreams. How about you?
