Last Saturday, our Student Union organized the AnnuaI Campus Sports Games, which lasted throughout the weekend. This activity left an unforgettable impression on me. lt was a huge success because not only did it spark students enthusiasm for sports activities, but it also proved our universitys openness and care for students needs.
The games started at 9 a.m. with a short speech de livered by the principal of our university, who emphasized the im- portance of sports in building a healthy and balanced life-style. Then, various sports event were held including track and field, basketball, swimming, and even chess, catering to a wide range of interests and abilities. The highlight for me was th e relay race, which saw an incredible display of teamwork a nd determination. Additionally, many students, me included, were impressed with the good organization of the events, the exciting cheers and medaI awarding ceremony held on the Sunday evening.

Last Sunday, a profound activity, school project of collecting used books, was held on campus. A host of students poured their passion into the event and almost everyone considered it as a meaningful way to access to knowledge, based on the actual situation yesterday.
Our university student union had made some arrangements for the project. From my perspective, the following two purposes can interpret this activity. To begin with, this kind of activity would cut down expenses of students, cultivating the awareness of saving. In the mean time, collecting used books can decrease the recycling and reprinting of books, and it is also benefit for the protection of environment. Anyone in the school who was curious about the project registered their names on the list and brought their books to student union’s office, Room 115, E Building last Friday.
The collected books have been displayed in the library. All students who attended the event enjoyed this marvellous period.

Among college students, there is a heated debate over wheth-er they need to commit time and energy to developing social skills. Many believe that such skills are not as important as the study of major courses, while some have the idea that devel-oping them is of great necessity. As for me, the latter is more reasonable.
There are a range of reasons accountable for my point of view. Firstly, college students with great social skills usually have more opportunities at schools.
