另一件让我获益匪浅的业余尝试是曲谱。因为很喜欢一段电视配乐，我尝试把它写成钢琴谱。我拥有业余电子琴五级证书，但这依然不容易。遇到瓶颈后，我求助于网上。然而有多少人会随便帮助陌生人做这种麻烦事呢?答案是零。于是我便下定决心，靠自己来完成。没想到经过自己的一番努力真的把它写成了!从中我明白了另一样重要的事，那就是自立自强。没人可以随便让你依靠。困难要自己克服才有意义。
所以有理由相信，虽然我于现在的只能做到中上成绩，但到大学去学习自己喜欢的，向往科目时我一定能做到最好。那时我会选择自己的事业，全身心投入去完成。相信我做到更好——也希望您可以相信。

我渐渐了解了关于这所高校的历史沿革、办学理念和学科设置等一系列情况。我知道了电子科技大学是以信息与电子学科为主，工、理、管、文多学科协调发展的全国重点大学，是国家“211工程”立项建设的重点高校之一。而且学校汇聚了一支政治素质优良、学术水平高、结构合理的教师队伍。最让我感到兴奋的是“神五”、“神六”飞船副总设计师杨宏等一大批IT行业领军人物和技术骨干原来都是电子科技大学培养出来的。

个人自述的形式和内容同样重要
我们对写作的方式十分感兴趣，申请人如何讲述非常重要——用清晰、准确的方式表达思想。在一所充斥着高素质候选人的学校里，决策的依据并非是数据和公式。个人自述帮助招生办做出理性的、但最终还是主观的判断。如果一所学校接一所学校地咨询，你就会发现个人自述的重要性越来越大。
是否具有对其职业的综合反思能力
在一篇个人自述中，我们要求申请人将他们的过去和未来有机地结合起来。我们把这种自传叫作“职业目标”自传。它为我们提供了确凿的信息，同时也可以确定申请人是否具有对自己及其职业的综合性反思能力。通常的情况是，即使是那些按照传统标准最聪明的人也做不到这一点。
我们第二篇个人自述是关于学习目标的，让申请人陈述他们想进耶鲁的理由。他或她想在这里学些什么如何做到学以致用。
避免三个极端的非此即彼的常见问题
(1)避免不实吹捧以及“英国式低调”
个人自述中最常见的错误就是把简历或个人历史重述一遍，没有反思、评价和自我批评。另一个错误就是写的都是“招生办的人想听的事情”，结果经常让人感到做作和矫情。

建议不要把草稿寄过来。文章写完后要再看两遍。尽量做到清楚、准确，但也不要因为篇幅的限制妨碍文章的完整。在整体和简洁之间可以做到令人愉快的折衷。但是，大多数的自传都太长了，换句话说，过长的文章要多于过短的。
最好的办法就是尽可能全面、诚实地回答学校的问题。让招生办的人自己去做有关录取的决定。不要想着搞什么心理战，或者企图替别人做决定。有些申请人自认为知道学校的想法，把自己装扮成某种类型，这样做会使我们失去了一个了解你的个性和思想的机会。
(3)坦白具有风险，不必掩饰对未来的不确定性
再说一遍，要诚实。诚实和坦白是优秀个人自述的标准，就像在工作和生活中一样，虽然这样做也有一点风险。有些申请人认为那些被录取的人都非常清楚在今后40年要做些什么。事实上，在这一时期，你对未来的想法还是一片迷茫。你可能要进入一个重新反省的阶段，感觉像是经历了一次重新组合、人生翻到了下一页、生活的方向也在改变。但是你并不清楚要走哪条路。如果你确实如此，那么就照实说；我们非常理解，即使是一些好学生，未来的管理界领袖也都经历过这种“阶段”。诚实地表示出你对未来的不确定要比装作什么都知道好得多。

出国留学前必要的准备介绍
1、语言能力准备
很多人认为学英语直接到国外学，因为国外的英语环境好，能够帮助学生更快提高语言能力。但是对于还没有具备扎实语言基础的中国学生而言，这肯定不是一个好建议。
中国学生在接受了长时间的传统填鸭式、应试型教育之后，有很多人不具备良好的独立学习能力和实践勇气，更没有达到对于英语的运用自如。如果马上出国留学，难免听不懂课、张不开嘴，进而陷入学习的恶性循环当中。
建议高中生在出国留学前，做好语言准备，让自己踏出国门后更快地融入当地社会，尽快地与人交流沟通。
2、学习能力准备

4、申请及签证准备

出国留学签证申请流程
一、了解申请国家的留学签证和申请条件
无论申请哪个国家的签证，都需要提前了解该国家在办理签证的流程和相关的材料之类的。因为大使馆对于签证的要求也是经常有变动性，所以为了避免在正式办理签证过程中出现错误问题，申请人应该提前了解一下该国家签证的流程和所需材料。
二、预约签证
大多数国家办理签证时是需要提前预约的，例如：美国，学生们可以提前到中信银行卡购买电话卡致电美国大使馆进行预约签证，对于没有预约而直接到签证中心递交材料的情况，申请中心是不会受理的。
三、填写签证申请表

I am interested in the field of study of Organizational Behavior. In thepast， I have had the experience of working in settings where the people and thecorporate cultures of the companies were all different. I have found that thereis a great difference in the both the behaviors of people and of theirorganizations， depending on whether they are state-owned enterprises (SOEs)，large multinational firms， or small to medium sized foreign enterprises. Onesimple example is that of the ability of an employee to act independentlywithout direct instructions from his or her boss. In many Chinese organizations，acting without direct instructions is considered a form of disrespect towardsthe supervisor， who is generally offended by such behavior. In my experience andresearch， such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with theemployees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.
In contrast， foreign enterprises tend to welcome employees who have theability to make decisions on their own， though the extent to which this is truedepends on whether the supervisor is a local Chinese or an expatriate.
The purpose behind this personal statement is to not only gain admission toyour well-established and highly respected Ph.D. program， but to impress uponyou my passion for learning and my tremendous desire to succeed in bothscholastic research and in teaching on the professional level. I have always enjoyed studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and I wouldlike the opportunity to continue this study. Chemical Engineering appeals to mebecause of the challenges involved in the application of scientific theory topractical, real world problems such as how to deal with nuclear waste. I also attended a Headstart courseat Newcastle University, which I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the main activitieswas to design, manufacture and test a small crane. I found both of theseexperiences very challenging, as we were given only limited time so we had toprioritise our tasks and carefully plan our work.
This year a fellow student and I were awarded ￡500 by the EuropeanScholarship Prize to fund a visit to Prague to do research for our A-levelHistory coursework. I gained an understanding of the city’s culture and historyand further developed my independence. During the summer I represented my schoolon a Connexions review of a government white paper on 14-19 education. I gainedan insight into the government’s proposals and learned a lot about working withdifferent groups of people. Last year I was part of the editorial team for theschool magazine. I wrote a number of articles and I was responsible for ensuringthat staff contributions were ready for the deadline. I also enjoy participatingin a range of sports and have represented the school at football and cricket,which has further enhanced my team working skills.
In my spare time I am working towards my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. InSeptember I completed a 4-day expedition in the Lake District, which tested myendurance but gave me a great sense of achievement. By studying Drama, we can become a variety of people, trapped within one single mind, all trying to be freed and each with their own personality and poison. Humanity has helped Drama so much to produce narrative of such calibre, and characters of such depth and poise – characters, which can be as sweet and innocent, or can take the more disgusting side of what being a human is, being as evil as what thought possible
Performance Art explores the whole range of human emotion and can produce tremendous performances and visual experiences and with Drama, in particular, we can go further than flesh and blood and express ourselves as somebody else and take on this ‘mask’. I have always had a love for the performing arts since I can remember; for there has never really been anything else I have ever wanted to do apart from act. But acting is not just a subject to study people, narratives or social issues – we can discover so many things about ourselves, why we perform a character this way: is it because this person is so much like us? There have been numerous qualities I have discovered about myself while participating in drama. In teaching, I have learn how to really connect with people and help them to explorer what their feelings produce and more notably, how we learn about others, about a single person just by the way they say a monologue
Teaching has been a great experience for me because it has given me the time to evaluate my own performance and teaching skill, learning to become that character just a little but more. This has also been enhanced by the performances I have taken part in, learning to work together in teams to realise the dream of the narration and the vision of the director (for nothing really exists without the vision or image)
While experiencing other aspects of the Performing Arts, I have found that is has increased my performance skill on whole and expended my knowledge on the performance world greatly, Dance, Art and English all focusing on similar issues such as the Commedia dell’arte, Henrik Ibsen, Physical Theatre and Movements and philosophies. These subjects have greatly complemented my time in Drama, and increased my confidence and ability in being a performer. Being involved in 5 consecutive school productions, 2 amateur productions, teaching experience and a student has really influence me concerning the determination I will put into a career in Drama and Acting, and just working with these people and directors have really bettered me in the way I act, see myself and carry on with my life. The Performing Arts is such a brilliant profession to work in, because there is so much opportunity to explore the world
I know that I can offer the performing arts the time, the expense and the spark that it deserves. There is nothing else in world that I would devote more time to than being on the stage or acting in the street, and with the passion and determination to succeed behind me, I will give that spark and flavour that acting and the performing arts is all about. For nearly one year, when all other colleagues had gone back home after work or to the bars for relaxation, I kept myself busy with the designing, programming, and refactoring work. When I got home every day after ten o’clock in the night, I would read papers of and continue for seeking the universities and professors attractive to me until one o’clock in the morning. My sense of responsibility for the company made me obliged to finish all the projects in my hands before I leave for America. And my yearning for the free American environment which is easy to inspire researchers’ potential made me willing to live such hard life under much greater pressure.
Although over two years’ software development work in Beijing Grandsoft Technology Co., Ltd has already helped me accumulate considerable experience in software programming and designing and make some achievements admirable in others’ eyes, I, who will be promoted as a senior development engineer, know clearly that only the program in your department can fully exert my strength and make my pursuit come true.

Although the SQL was optimized and different DB engines and components were tried, the querying efficiency was not improved obviously when dealing with mass data and complex business logics. However, I learned in the course how to improve the efficiency of database query for huge amount of data, how to conduct efficiency test and experiment and how to use the simplest query to realize the huge business logics. In trial use of the Qlikview software of a professional data query company, although I was not able to solve the problem, I learned the BI thoughts to cache data into the memory to improve the application efficiency.
However, though I have laid a solid foundation in my years of studies in Tsinghua University and my self-studies during the work, though I have improved my ability in practice and problem-solving, I still lack in theories which can be seen from the above examples. Only practice is not enough to solve problems completely. The importance of theories can be also seen in my adjusting the tree traversing algorithm. I improved the GCM product’s tree building efficiency by dozens of times after I analyzed the general law of data distribution. Therefore, I am more determined to continue my further education abroad.
Having gone through the thinking during the learning-working-learning process, I believe that I’ve already found what I need. The program will be the most meaningful place for me in my life. To live a meaningful life everyday; to continually pursue my predetermined worthwhile goals. -My view of life.
Could I put myself in the life-threatening working environment? Could I sacrifice my life for the benefits of others? Some people may laugh at my crazy question. To me, that is a serious question I have come a long way to find my answer. “I am not sure whether it is worth to answer”; “What is the true meaning of that question?”
When I was a young child, I watched a soap opera that was about court. I was deeply impressed by the judge’s calmness and the lawyer’s eloquence and resource that were showed in this opera. From then on, I hoped to study law some day. Fortunately, I performed well in entrance examination and got enrolled into __ University. Then I chose law as my major without hesitation. At university, I studied hard and got GPA 3.4. What’s more, I broadly read all kinds of books, including philosophy, history etc. My teachers’ instruction strengthened my understanding of law and makes me understand the significance of law to a country. From my studies, I had a lot of fun and got more interested in law. Moreover, I actively participated in practice in holidays from common company to law firm and tried to apply the theory I had learned into practice.
This summer, I had my internship in counselor department in __ Group Co Ltd which was involved in a business contract dispute, which was submitted to China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for arbitration. As a representative of the requested applicant, I took part in the evidence collection in the early arbitration stage and clearly explained why the 5% balance of goods was not paid on time. After knowing the whole case, I visited my teacher, an Arbitration Law professor, and listened to her opinions. Realizing the counterpart didn’t completely implement their contract duty, I gave reasons as follows: First, the counterpart company didn’t mention bearing issue, which caused that the delivered machines couldn’t be put into the plant because of the disqualification of workshop. Thus overhaul was necessary, which delayed production and resulted loss. Based on these reasons, the counterpart didn’t completely carry out its duty, so our party did not pay the balance on time. During this time, I found out the evidence and pictures that attested counterpart did not give reasonable suggestion and service, and made a statement in the court. Finally, the arbitration turned out that counterpart compensated our loss, in which the arbiters invoked the reasons that I stated. They had a panel made up of 3 lawyers and 5 company representatives as agents while we just had 3 persons—two lawyers and me. Under such condition, I was able to cooperate with them and clearly stated my opinions without any nervousness, which got their respect. This matter greatly inspired my enthusiasm on study.
In addition, I took part in the contact draft in several companies. In the process, when I met a lot of problems, I often turned to my teachers for help, which made good impression on them. As I cherished each practice, I studied my specialty and English hard. With effective study method and diligence, I did well both in English and law, which helped me a lot to get scholarship every year. On the other hand, my practice inspired me to study. In practice, I exercised my legal knowledge. I also realize the big gap between theory and its application—sometimes I have master the rules but I didn’t know how to use it in actual case. My practice experiences have not only strengthened what I learned but have supplied new knowledge for me, which is good for my future study and career.
In my study and practice, I admired outstanding lawyers’ eloquence and jumping thinking more and more. However, in China, most of lawyers come from theory study and those who can perform well in practice are insufficient. Moreover, after the China’s entrance to WTO, there are a lot of problems with Chinese law. I think, my internship experience is not enough. In practice, I could combine substantive law with procedural law to analyze case, but I still feel my theoretical foundation is not solid enough. What’s more, comparably speaking, the chances that I have to initiatively study and practice are not a lot. 大家好，我叫，来自国家连片贫困地区重点县之一的XX省XX市XX县。作为一名普通的高三生，今天怀着很特别的心情递交这份申请，它既怀揣着我对贵大学的向往和崇仰。又寄托着我的大学梦。我愿怀着最赤诚的心来诉说我心中的愿景。也很感激各位老师在百忙之中审读我的来信。我相信一定不会让您们失望的。
贫困的大山挡不住我强烈的求学之心。绵延的山路没有阻挡我的求学之路。生活的不易没有使我消沉抑郁，反而激起我奋发图强的意志，激起我想要努力改变生活现状，改变家乡落后面貌的决心。
进入高中以来，我就更加明白学习的重要性，我很佩服这样的自己，一直保持高昂的斗志和不服输的精神，在学习上力争上游。也许我的成绩不是绝对的优势，但是我努力找准自己的定位，取得属于自己的进步，把成绩稳在班级前几名，学校前三十名以内。我是一个活泼开朗的女生，甚至有些女汉子风采。自小父母就不娇惯我，有意识地培养我独立自主的能力。或许是这种开朗、民主的家庭氛围，使我在生活学习上都保持乐观向上的状态，在学校也积极参加各种活动，包括学校举办的运动会和各种演讲比赛，也取得不错的名次。高一时，我担任班级的团支书，多次带领同学们组织英语演讲比赛、辩论赛等，也组织过很多次班会。这些活动一次比一次成功，我的经验也在实践中不断丰富，既增强了同学们的友谊和感情，也提高了我自身的组织能力。高二时担任副班长，和班长一起负责管理班级日常工作，锻炼了自己的管理协调能力。
在紧张的生活之余，在假期间我也参与了会志愿服务工作，我的主要工作是帮助引导游客。虽然时间只有短短的三天，但是我在这个过程中也有很多独特的感受。其中的感受是快速发展，在新的历史机遇面前，中原经济正在腾飞，这艘巨轮又一次准备扬帆启航。其次，在服务过程中，我也遇到全国各地的很多游客，能为他们服务，让他们感受XX人的热情，为他们展现文化的别样风采与魅力，我感到非常的激动，这是我作为一个XX人的骄傲与义务。另外，这项工作也教会我如何更好地与他人沟通，更好地表达自己，在挥洒汗水的同时也提高了自己的表达技能。
那么说到大学，很多同学都不是很愿意选择X，我想他们一定是没有了解过X。据我所了解，X不仅致力于建设区域性示范作用的综合性研究大学，也致力于建设高水平的国际知名大学。
我与X还是很有缘分的。首先，作为本省的大学，而且是第一所示范性211大学，那一定是久负盛名的。而且，我高中三年的老师基本上都是XX大学校友，就仅从老师们的口中就断断续续了解过很多关于XX大学的趣事，其中印象最深的是他们说的眉湖，有机会一定要一览为快。再次，X的很多招生政策都让我不禁拍手称赞，从自主招生到农村地区单独招生，心中都很感动。我们本省就有这样的好大学，那么还有什么理由去外省的呢？我又有什么理由不选择这样的大学呢？其次，我很欣赏XX大学的新浪微博，每天既可以感受唯美诗文，人生哲理，有可以欣赏嘻哈小段子，养生小故事。所以，从微博中也可以感受到XX大学文而不弱，武而不暴的校风。从这个社会平台来看，XX大学也是很成功的。最后，这也是毋庸置疑的一点，我们XX大学的人才遍布社会各界，不胜枚举的实例都彰显了我们不凡的实力和竞争力。
最后，我希望报考XX大学的汉语言文学专业。一方面，我觉得自己作为一个文科女生，对语言文字天生就有更多的兴趣和爱好，有多于常人的关注度。在日常生活中，我最喜欢的事情就是阅读报刊杂志，从《读者》、《青年文摘》再到《意林》，基本上都是我的必看书目。
因此，我也希望日后可以从事与杂志编辑相关的工作。可能很多人都梦想成为作家或者记者，我知道那需要足够优秀的文笔和思维跳跃性。现在我对记者的.钦佩之情还是大于羡慕的，他们永远奔赴在新闻的第一线，走在事发的最前列。为大众呈现最及时、最新鲜的新闻。而我纬度对杂志编辑情有独钟，我真心喜欢这项工作，我享受阅读书籍时优美文字在眼前跳跃的快感，我愿意为这项事业付出心血和精力，也愿意为大众呈现的一面，让整个社会充满爱与正能量，更愿意去分享这份美好。用文字纯净心灵，哲理文化人生。
当然了，还要请各位老师原谅由于我的阅历有限，难免会有一些肤浅的认识，我知道胜任这项工作还需要计算机方面的相关知识和技能，而我都不是很熟练，但是我相信我有永不放弃的信心，勇于拼搏的精神，敢于坚持的毅力将这项工作做好。
另一方面，我们也可以看到当前语言文化发展的现象都不是让人满意。尤其是在当下文化多元的情形下，面临西方文化的强烈冲击，文化发展更加举步维艰。而我们在世界各地举办的孔子学院，传播国学经典等活动，举办《汉字听写大会》等节目，都显示出对文化发展的重视。我们深知文化是民族的血脉，尤其是对中国这样一个有着五千年文明的大国。文化软实力就尤为重要，所以我愿意为此贡献自己的一份微薄之力，尽我之能力来弘扬中华文化，传播国家经典。

Ich hei?e Zhang Chen， komme aus der Stadt Beijing， VR China. Nach der Hochschulaufnahmepruefung habe ich bei der Studiengangwahl das Fach von Computer Wissenschaft und Technologie gew?hlt. Für meine Entscheidung zum Studium in Deutschland habe ich folgende Gründe，
Erstens， nach Deutschland zu studieren ist immer mein Traum. Deutschland ist eine entwickeltes Land， ihre Industrie， Wirtschaft liegt in den Spitze in der Welt. In diesem Land zu lernen und leben kann ich mehre Wissenschaften bekommen.
Zweitens， eine Schwester hatte ihres Studium in Deutschland abgeschlossen. Sie erklaert mir oft ihre Leben in Deutschland. Damals verfuellt Neid in meinem Herz. Die kulturelle Atmosph?re in Deutschland ist sehr stark. Die Literatur， Musik， das Drama usw. stehen in der Tradition von den anderen europ?ischen L?ndern， begründen trotzdem eine neue Richtung. So moechte ich diesem Land selbst verspueren.
Drittens， meine Eltern unterstützen mich bei meiner Entscheidung für das Studium in Deutschland. Nach der Meinung meines Vaters ist es der Traum der Ingenieur， die chinesische Industrie weiter entwickelt zu werden und Abstand mit Deutschland oder anderen entwickelten L?ndern abgekürzt zu werden， um den Traum zu wirklichen， will ich angestrengt studieren und mehre Wissens zu erhalten.

I am applying for admission to the Ph.D. program in Electrical and ComputerEngineering， at the University of California， Berkeley. I present my researchexperience and study objectives in this statement of purpose. I would like tobuild on my solid education and experience as an engineer for a Ph. D. degree incomputer science at a distinguished university. I wish in particular to betrained at an advanced level in software systems， database systems， applied-AIand knowledge-based systems. My ultimate goal is to become a professor teachingcomputer science at a Chinese university. I believe that advanced training in aquality graduate program will help me realize my goal.
My father is a chartered accountant and my mother is a banker. During mydays at Engineering College I used to go to my father's office and help himmanage his portfolio of equities and other financial instruments. This was thetime I learnt the first lesson of finance from my father i.e. risk and returnare proportionate. In 1998 when I was in the second year the China stock marketcrashed. But fortunately， my father had a well-diversified portfolio because ofwhich our returns were protected from the downside risk. This was when I learntthe second principle of finance from my father i.e. diversification reducesrisk. While I understood these two principles intuitively， it produced in me astrong urge to learn and understand the complex theory behind the working ofFinance. This， I believe， was a turning point in my career. I made up my mind topursue a career in Finance and hence decided to do a Masters program in BusinessAdministration.
As I was finishing college， my mother had both of her hips replaced withartificial ones because all of the cartilage in her hip joints had worn away andit was very painful for her to walk. I found it fascinating that engineers，orthopedic surgeons， and biologists had all worked together to design theseartificial joints that completely transform. people's lives by giving them backpain-free mobility， and I knew at that moment that this was an area about whichI wanted to learn more. In China these days， university graduates who have notbeen lucky enough to settle into their dream jobs often look to graduatedstudies as a way to kill the time that they cannot otherwise spend meaningfully.I am prepared to go against the social conventions by putting on hold asuccessful research career that promised to be even more successful. With eightyears of productive and highly valued practical research behind me， I now wouldlike to revert to a more intellectual life so that I can conduct moretheoretical discourses.

However， our syllabus has focusedmainly on "traditional" CS topics， such as Operating systems and single-CPUsystems. We have had barely a glimpse of the newer technologies that are likelyto change the way computing is done in not-so-distant future. The desire toexamine such subjects in greater detail is what has prompted me to opt forgraduate study. Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s“reform. andopen”policies， economics plays an increasingly important role in the developmentof its global position. As a senior at Beijing University majoring in Economics，I feel that my field is fundamental to the progress of my country. Yet， at thesame time， I realize only too well that what I have learned as an undergraduateis far from enough. Therefore， it is my desire to pursue a graduate degree IEconomics at your university.
