ever since the dawning of the history of mankind, there have been myriads of diversifed inventions, discoveries, and even explorations of the mysteries of the universe. in fact, the human beings are so intelligent that we have solved almost all kinds of problems we have confronted with.
however, nobody has ever made out what the word “love” really connotes, not even the most famous people such as great politicians, saints and philosophers can clarify the meaning of “love”, neither can they deal with the various affairs concerning love. love is like a huge boundless net that shrouds us all in. we can neither break away from it nor escape from it. like it or not, we are always entangled in it. it is an invisible net without any form, that shrouds in different people from different angels; it is a merciless net that upsets us or even tortures us to death. it is also a supreme net which almost no human can surpass. even if they are heroes, emperors, wise men or saints, they can do nothing but show their helplessness in its face. those who can breathe through the holes of the net should be regarded beyond commonness and vulgarity. love can bring us temporary comfort and happiness, but mostly they bring about annoyance and sufferings. maybe this is the reason why many people have seen through the illusions of the mortal world. however it is not so easy to break away from this boundless, ever-existing and indifferent net of love.
love is varied and changeable, but roughly it can be divided into three categories: family love, fraternal love and amatory love. not like monkey king who jumped out of the rocks, we were all born after mother's pregnancy of about nine months, hence we have countless relatives without any choice: parents, grand-parents, and grand-parents-in-law, uncles and aunties, brothers and sisters, etc. and once looking at the genealogical tree, we'll see no end. family love is what everyone longs for, but the warmth and support from our beloved ones are what everyone yearns for the most. but how many of us are determined to contribute to our beloved one? and how many don't expect repayment and relaxed. conscience even if they have the desire and preparation to contribute to their beloved. the distance between relatives is different and so are their expectations. but since it's very difficult to know how much we should expect, a lot of worries and distresses emerge.
parents always expect their children to show their filial obedience, or at least pay them frequent visits after they have got married. if the children fail to do this, they feel hurt and upset, and they'll even complain about their children, because they just can't understand why their children don't care about them after what they have done for the children for so many years to bring them up. nevertheless, one's experience determines his ideology. young children are naturally attached to their parents, but when they grow up, specially when they have made their own friends, and got married, what they need most is independence and freedom, and parents sometimes might become their burden. once there is generation gap, it becomes more difficult to communicate and this keeps them away from their parents. objectively speaking, they need more independence in order to achieve success. in the present society, what the children want to have most is the economic support from their parents, not their moral support or guidance. they would complain if your economic support is not up to their expectations. the love from uncles and aunties would naturally dwindle after they have had their own children. only the love from grand-parents and grand parents-in-law is pure and demands no repayment, and they are also too old to wait for any repayment. as for the distant relatives, their love depends on their needs, just as the old saying goes “the poor have no friends even if they live in downtown while the rich have distant relatives even if they live in deep mountains”。 granny liu, a distant kinsfolk, in a dream of the red mansions , claims kinship with the wealthy jia family, thinking that she may benefit from it in some ways. liu might have run away without any traces if the jia family had been a poor one. another saying goes “close neighbors are better than distant relatives.” the most difficult is to manage the relatives when doing business together, just as what the tv series program liu laogen discloses. it is all right to stay poor together, but as soon as the business grows prosperous, the group will become estranged and even dissolve because of the unfair distribution. family love is like a maze which we shouldn't go too far into it, otherwise, we'll surely get lost. love is a bilateral matter and unilateral love can only lead you to nowhere in spite of your good intentions. family love is, sometimes, like an arranged marriage, leaving no choices to you. due to the different experiences and tastes, staying together temporarily can be entertaining, while living together for a long time can only be boring due to the lack of common interest and understanding. how can we communicate with each other without understanding? parents have the duty to support the children who are not yet economically independent, and children have the responsibility to provide for the elderly parents who are lack of economic abilities to support themselves. except these two kinds of duties which we must fulfill, other kinds of love become conventional formalities such as paying visit to the sick or the dead and giving presents to the newly-born etc.
no love among relatives has become a normal phenomenon which needn't to be fussed about. what's worse is when love is contaminated by money. sooner or later we will get hurt. the sooner we get out of this net of love, the more we can preserve beautiful memories.
we are not living in vacuum, and the society is formed of various kinds of people. as long as we want to live, study, or work, we have to contact, communicate and cooperate with others. those who enjoy common interests, mutual understanding, common undertakings and common benefits become friends.
some friends are called fair-weather friends, because they are together just for entertaining themselves by eating, drinking, and gossiping. once there's nothing to eat and drink, their friendship is finished. some are spiritual friends who share common ambitions, pursuits and education. “they enjoy talking and laughing with the great talents and never make friends with the good-for-nothings”. the best examples would be yu boya and zhong ziqi of the ancient times who are famous not only for their lofty music but mainly for their lofty characters and mutual understanding and appreciation. they cared very little about material wealth, so their friendship is known as “gentlemen's friendship as pure as water”.the third type of friendship belong to those who show their utter devotion to each other. they are ready not only to share weal and woe but also to die for each other, like the three brothers liu, guan and zhang in the novel romance of the three kingdoms. . we all wish to have this kind of friendship, but it's of great difficulty for the ordinary people to be as devoted as they were.
fraternal love or friendship is wide-ranged and flexible. generally speaking, everyone is our friend, just as chairman mao says “our friends are all over the world”。 but transcend age, sex, nationality, state and economic conditions. to them the most important is common benefit, common interest and understanding. friendship is formed during the course of studying, working and fighting. the battle companions who have survived many hazards usually enjoy long-lasting friendship.
however, fraternal love is not stable. being away for too a long time, losing all common benefits, friends will become estranged. once their interest has changed, they no longer understand each other, and even this would harm friendship. at all times and in all countries, many close friends and battle companions who once worked together and fought together became enemies in the end. quiet a few of the emperors in ancient china even killed those who had helped them found their dynasties. the taiping heavenly kingdom would not have failed if it hadn't been for the contending and massacring among the those who first rose in rebellion at the beginning of the uprising. what else we need to pay attention to is that some friends, after being away from each other for too long a time, have lost so much of their original characters that when meeting again, you will feel that you are still the same as you were, while they are no longer themselves. they may have the same feeling about you, so sometimes it's better not to meet each other again. as the chinese proverb goes “friendship can not last for three years and flowers can not stay in blossom for three months”.it's not so easy to maintain real friendship which needs mutual understanding, tolerance and sacrifice. any kinds of harsh treatment will damage friendship.
amatory love has been a mystery for ages. there's neither a criterion to judge nor a common rule to follow. nobody can tell the exact reasons why love emerges. it is not always because of beauty (the ugly doorkeeper quasimodo in the hunchback of notre dame is loved by the beautiful gypsy girl esmeralda),nor kindness (hitler also has his mistress),nor wisdom ( even the blockhead may sometimes marry a beautiful girl),nor strength (some love starts from sympathy).true love is like getting an electric shock, shaking our soul. it is a sweet dream, a kind of intoxication, indulgence, and endless passion.
true love doesn't need a long time to grow up, to make clear the family tree of the other, neither does it needs the time to look ahead and behind again and again. love is not marriage, which usually starts from love, but doesn't always depend on love to maintain. long-lasting marriage can eventually turn into a kind of family love, a kind of companionship which preserves the companion but loses the passion. love is often an wink of the eye, or a smile that hints mutual understanding. in spite of the great distance between them, people may fall in love incidentally. hence the saying “a distant marriage is tied up with a mysterious thread”. love needs passion, and it can stand bumps and stumbles, ups and downs, complaints and blames. when it turns into a pool of water, especially dead water, without any billows or waves, it's time for it to die.
delicacies are tasty, but eating everyday can still make one lose appetite. happiness is what everyone longs for, but too much happiness can spoil people who may not care about the happiness they already have. it's universal to live in happiness without knowing it. the same is true with love. very few people can love the same person passionately all their lives. all love stories come to an end no matter how beautiful they are, which also demonstrate the changeability of love. what one has been chasing wildly may turn into something one wants to get rid of desperately in the end. besides, love is usually blind, especially those who fall in love at the first sight. at the very beginning, both try to demonstrate their beautiful side and cover up their weakness. fooled by the mysterious color of love, one often mistakes the weaknesses as merits. however, as time passes by, frequent contacts make one bored, and even merits become defects, and then the end of love is coming. what's more, there are the capricious men and women who never take love seriously, leaving the devoted ones suffering alone. the saying that the devoted is always abandoned by the heartless has almost become the truth of love affairs. what we can't neglect is that love may turn into hatred, and lovers may also become enemies. the best proof is the numerous divorces.
even though true love is hard to find nowadays, we still can see some true and infatuated boys and girls who readily give up their families, their parents, their studies, their careers and even their lives for love. they love so passionately, crazily and wildly that they hate anyone who is against their love, and may even harm or kill him if he insists on his objection.
love has magical power that can exploit people's potential abilities, bring people's positive factors into full play, and provide people with the courage to face trials and hardships, to go through life and death, and even to risk universal condemnation. even in the ancient feudal society, some people were courageous enough to carry on clandestine love affairs. the examples in point were the courageous ones who dared to love the concubines of the emperors or the children of their foes. love also has miraculous power which can startle the universe and move the gods by attracting the heavenly celestials coming down to earth ( the love story of the cowboy and the weaving girl ),and by turning ghosts into human ( strange tales of liao-zhai ),love can transcend age and generation (dr. sun yat-sen and madam song qingling; luxun and xu guangping).love can show contempt for all conventions and prejudices; love can heal wounds and cure diseases, and love can readjust people's state of mind. of course, the result would be the opposite once it hurts.
great men yearn for true love even more than ordinary people. since the ancient times, so many heroes couldn't help falling into the trap of love that the sex-trap has been regarded as one of the 36 stratagems in military tactics. fuchai, the king of the wu state, couldn't be spared of this trap, and generals dongzhuo and lubu fell deeply into it while xiangyu, the king of the western chu state , bid farewell to his beloved concubine in tears. people may have to pay very high price, even their illustrious name for the love they long for even though it may last for only a very short time. nonetheless no one can tear himself away from love. people often say that their earthly affinity is not yet finished, but in fact it is the love affinity that is the most difficult to finish.
love is shapeless and priceless. we can blame nobody when captured by it. love can not be forced, nor can it be pretended. sympathy is not love, neither is gratitude. love must be generated from the heart, and expressed in actions. it can not be called love without passions and a deep longing from the bottom of the heart. there's no impassable gulf between family love and fraternal love. some family love may turn into friendship. at the same time, natural barriers doesn't exist either between fraternal love and amatory love. some friendship may develop into amatory love. the same is true with amatory love which may change into family love after a long time of mutual grinding and polishing.the closer the relationship, and the higher the expectations are, the more difficult it is to get along with each other. family love, fraternal love and amatory love are three main human feelings. if handled well, they can bring us extreme happiness, while handled improperly, will bring us great sufferings.
the present society is a world of dazzling money and dwindling human feeling contacts. most people hold a snobbish attitude. they only make friends with people of wealth and of high social status. just as zhen shiyen said in his expounding of the song “all good things must end” in a dream of the red mansions “while men with gold and silver by the chest, turn beggars scorned by all and dispossessed”.frankly speaking, however, if we regard money the first thing in whichever one of the three kinds of loves, it will depreciate and even become worthless.
love can not pretend, nor can it tolerate too much selfish motives. it is reported that an old man in jiangsu province left his million yuan heritage to his young housekeeper instead of his own children, because his own children didn't take care of him while the young housekeeper accompanied him through his last lonely and helpless years.
love is easily perceivable and perceptible. flattery words may be cheatable, but true love and false feelings can easily be distinguished. if the people you love only know how to spend your money, you should be careful of them. everyone can help you spend your money if you give them the chance. never turn your love into the slave of money.
love should be selfless, and feelings should be sincere. we shouldn't judge our feelings according to the distance of the relationship. everyone treasures love and nobody can fool himself or the others. a chinese saying goes: real heroes yearn even more for true love, and great men cherish tender love for their children.
we are the saint on earth, and should treasure our love, but we should know how much is good and where to stop. since there's no ever-lasting banquet, nor is there an endless love story, we should take the gains and losses of love with perfect composure. there's fragrant grass in every corner of the earth, and you can always find your love in this world.
Good afternoon:
Honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends.I’m very glad to stand here to share my speech with you.Today I’m going to talk about dreams.
Everyone has a dream.
Martin Luther King had a dream-and we can all recall his Civil Rights Speech.Phil Knight had a dream-and now the whole world knows his Nike Slogan“Just Do It”!
I also have a dream, but not only a simple one.
When I was in primary school,my dream was that I would be a doctor when I grew up.I’ll be the first person who produces a new
medicine. This kind of medicine can make teachers relax when they are busy correcting their students’ exercises and preparing their lessons.Because one day when I woke up at midnight,I found my father,a senior Chinese teacher, was still busy with his work.I was deeply moved.I wish my father could be healthy and relaxed every minute.
Now I’m a senior Grade Two student, all my classmates and I are working hard,we all know the College Entrance Examination which will come in the year of 20xx is a big problem for us.We must study harder and harder in order to go to a good university, then when we finish our school,we can find a good job in society. My dream is also that.Though now I’m not good at study,I’ll try my best.
I know fantasy is hard to come true, bue dream can.
I’ll work hard for my dreams,I’ll never give up.
The classmates:
How do you do! My speech for everyone is "the motherland, I am proud for you!"
Learned this unit, the "homeland" this two word, you must like me, have a more in-depth understanding. At the same time, you must also patriotic engineer zhan tianyou, for our country and abroad, characters such as heart love ji of the motherland proud!
Forget in 1905, the qing government to recognize the zhan tianyou for the chief engineer to build from Beijing to zhangjiakou railway, but the imperialists are considered to be a joke. Can have a newspaper contemptuous said: "in the north of nankou railroads, Chinese engineers haven't born." In the face of imperialist block and ridicule, zhan tianyou resolutely accept the task. With the rigorous scientific attitude and ardent patriotism, not afraid of the Great Wall winds came in gusts, yellow sand all over the sky; Also is not afraid of the danger of falling deep canyons, day and night survey lines, drawing and calculation. Task was finished ahead of time to build Beijing zhang railway. This to provoke China imperialists a loud slap.
Forget 1935, study in Germany, ji all no longer thinking of the motherland, he write diary, express their true feelings. It should be this kind of emotion, let him feel steam, dismissed the idea of staying abroad.
Forget the early liberation, frontier guards stationed on the island, brought from the distant home butterfly, watermelon seeds, let the home of insects and fruit "settle down" on the island. Express the island to the motherland the deep love.
At the time, like this honor for the country, serve the Chinese people of the motherland, the motherland of the upper out one after another, not ShengJu. Don't can proud for our country?
My speech finished, thank you!

“What do you think is the word that has really changed our world ”
When I was asked about this question for the first time ,without thinking it too much ,a word flash into my mind ——DREAM ,D-R-E-A-M.People more or less dream about different things ,to be a teacher ,a doctor ,a scientist ,a businessman and so on .All these people who have dreams should be respected ,because Dreams make the world go around .We grow great by our dreams. All big men are great dreamers in their youth.Everyone has a dream ,and everything starts as one’s daydream.
Martin Luther king had a dream. He desired for a future where blacks and whites would coexist harmoniously as equals.By speaking the way he did,he educated,he inspired,he informed not just the people there, but people throughout America and unborn generations. He pushed forward the pace of American black society towards the racial equality .
Thomas Edison had a dream. He dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity, began where he stood to put his dream into action, and despite more than ten thousand failures,he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality! And today, his dream lights up the world at night.
Walt Disney had a dream. This,in itself, wasn't unusual -- he was always dreaming. He dreamed of making the first animated feature film, and of building an amusement park that parents could enjoy right along with their kids.Walt Disney empowered his dream and today,Disneyland,Disney world and Disney theme parks attract around the world thrill millions of visitors each and every year.
John F.kennedy had a dream. He wanted to land a man on the moon and return him safely to earth so as to restore faith in the American way of life.John F.kennedy empowered his dream and 8 years later Neil Armstrong stepped on the face of the moon. The moon landing certainly gave Americans new found confidence.
Dream --- A word that has changed the world Yes ,I would say so ,wouldn’t you
Youth is a special life relay station ,the growth with the worry ,the life feeling become aware happily with the dream ,collected a unique youth melody in here .
We decide. We choose. And as we decide and choose,so are our lives formed. In the end, forming our own destiny is what ambition is about. And most importantly ,You are the one you choose to be.
It is easy to waste our lives ,our days ,our minutes .It is easy to exist than living .So hold fast to your dreams,For if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird,That cannot fly.Hold fast to your dreams,For when dreams go,life is a barren field,Frozen with snow.
water, sky, ground, sea, rivers and lakes are. for water conservation, the students always feel as section
save something else less important. some students on the tap, foot, scouring, some students a drink of water, but the mouth facing the faucet to drink tap water, sound of rushing water, and does not feel bad. water line really worth it water conservation is really unimportant not the world’s water 93% is salt water, not drink. accounted for only 7% of fresh water, and drink water only accounts for eight per cent of zero. billion people around the world, we depend on it accounted for only 0.8% drinking fresh water, watching, water and more valuable ah! although there are three liters of water per person per day will be able to maintain life, but in fact of urban residents per person per day cooking, washing, washing vegetables ...... everything can not do without water, water up to several hundred liters. in addition, the farming and industrial production can not do without water. people can live several days without eating a few days without water can not. can not afford to humanity is to survive away fromwater, showing how important it is to save water.
water conservation “is not limited to water, but not let water. in fact, people save water is a reasonable use of water, efficient use of water. save water does not affect our quality of life. everyone has the value of resources wasted to correct others水 obligations. the idea that “as long as i pay the water, you can whim, waste water is my own business, others out of mind” point of view is wrong, our country, “water law” that water resources belong to the state , that is, the whole people. provide for countries around the world, water is public property. therefore, everyone should have public water awareness. power resources are very precious, unite the hard work of many people. everyone should love the water, saving water against pollution of water and waste water. “calendar view forerunners state and family, as the thrift failure by the extravagance. “qinjianchijia, diligence and universities, this is a morality, is a virtue.. students, we are a small host country, from small water conservation should deve.
Should Smoking in Public Places be Banned?
Nowadays many countries in the world have passed laws to ban smoking in public places. Some smokers claim that their rights are infringed if smoking is forbidden in public places. However, most non-smokers regard the ban as good news. As far as I’m concerned, smoking should be banned in all the public places such as restaurants, theaters and public squares.
On the one hand, smoking is harmful both for smokers themselves and others. It is reported that every year smoking causes millions of death around the world. On the other hand, smoking pollutes the air. Just imagine that you sit in a restaurant full of smoke, how can you enjoy your meal there? Besides, smoking is bad for the elevation of a country’s image in the world.
I believe if smoking is banned in all the public places, most of us will breathe in more fresh and clean air. And the health condition of all the people will be greatly improved.

Good morning:
Honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends. I’m very glad to stand here to share my speech with you. Today I’m going to talk about Love and Take care of Nature. Each life on the earth has a long and touching evolutionary story. From the origin, the lives of the human being are equal to those of others; they both are the composing parts of Mother Nature. Nevertheless, for some inexplicable reasons, the human becomes the spirits of all creatures. Of course, it is the result of the evolution, but still we should be grateful to all our companions in nature for the opportunity they offer. In spite of this, humans cannot live without earth.
They live on the earth, drink the sweet water, and enjoy the sunshine, the air, the sky, the fruit; the grains utilize the energy and so on. In a word, the human being cannot live without nature, and Mother Nature makes us grow stronger. I do not like the word "Pet", but preferring the word "Animal" instead. I have been loving animal since I was just a little boy. When thinking of the "Pet Fashion", I always feel much annoyed. For the animals will be given a shackle and lose their liberty if they become someone's pets. Their natural attribution can be deprived, too. Up to now, relying on their scientific power, the human have opened up too much and over developed nature, in order to fill up their growing appetites of wealth.
They destroy the balance of nature, however, they don't realize, their own development and existence will be threatened. Therefore, our sights should be focused on nature and we should try to develop the concept of "keeping human and nature in unity". We should lay emphasis on our education with consider cultural and natural emotion. To use the vivid example to wake up the conscience in people's hearts.
Thank you!
With the development of society, the competition of the entire society is more and more intense, causing increasing pressure to people. Stress of study, work and life are ubiquitous, but how can we deal with it? Here are some tips that I hope can be useful.
Firstly, keep good health. A healthy body is the premise to face presure. It’s the least capacity to cope with stress when a person is sick. Secondly, to accept the pressure. The reason why many people can not cope with stress is that they resist and escape it. Actually, there always is trouble and problems once we chose a path to go, because almost everything worth doing is not so easy. Thirdly, solve the problem, rather than complain about it. Many people complain about the surroundings and don’t think about the solutions when faced with problems. We all know that complaint can do nothing but only let you down. As long as the problem not solved, the pressure is always there. Fourthly, tell others your pressure and get help from them. Lots of pressure can’t be solved by our own and the rational way is talking the pressure to workmates or friends to get help from them. But the premise to do so is that we don’t intend to put pressure to others but to seek help and support to solve problems.
Of course, there also are some other ways to cope with stress, such as readjusting goal and expectation, playing games to relax, even shopping or eating. But no matter how, solving the problem that causes stress is the best way.
In the early nineteenth century, people began to use gas (gaslight), butthe gas pipeline supply by a leak or blockage, very easy to have an accident, people for illumination of reform, very ardent. In fact, Edison for himself setthe mission impossible: in addition to improve lighting, but also of ThomasEdison electric light Create a set of power supply system. And he and the dreamLuoYuan buddies, sleepless do 1600 repeatedly heat-resistant material and morethan 600 plant fiber experiment, only produced the first carbon wire bulb, can aburning 45 hours.Later he more on this basis, the method of continuousimprovement manufacture can ignite 12 hours finally came out with the ZhuSibulbs. The 19th century the 1980s, Edison electric light career succeeded, thissuccess than any previous achievements brought him reputation. In the 1980s,before he had little mistake, intermediate later, although he has made greatachievements, but also common occurance of failure.Edison's most not commendableactions is one of his criticism alternating current, say it has side effects, likely cause of death and injury, but he did not add details. So somebody said,"as he such a mess out many inventions that people about others' new inventionsaurday attack, this is very contradictory things." He opposes the use ofalternating current and direct current, so the approve a fierce debate andstubborn in failure. In this respect, reflects the Edison became a celebrityafter the stubbornness of started to foster old-fashioned shortcomings.
good morning, everyone! my name is liu meng. im from class 7, grade 7. today, ill tell you something about the best way to learn foreign languages. in schools boys and girls are learning foreign languages. english is one of the most important languages because so many people use it, not only in england and america, but also in other countries of the world. it is difficult to say how many people are learning it. millions of boys and girls at school are trying to do it. which is the best way to learn a language? we know that we all learnt our own language well when we were children. if we learn a second language in the same way and it wont be so difficult. how does a small child do? it listens to what people say, and he tries to guess what he hears. when he wants something, he has to ask for it. he is using the language, thinking in it and talking in it all the time. if people use a second language all the time, they will learn it quickly. in school, you learn to read, to write, to hear and to speak.
it is best to learn all new words through the ear. you can read them, spell them and write them later. thats all. thank you.

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I?m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.
First I want to ask you some questions:
1、 Do you know what is youth?
2、 How do you master your youth?
Youth
Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.
That?s all !
Thank you!
the birds are feeding situation, sheep milk are kneeling grace. we, human, as masters of the universe, also there is gratitude,
gratitude. thanksgiving is the source of power, love of the root, the courage of the. let us learn to thanksgiving, harvested in different life.
first of all, we should be grateful for our parents. because the love of parents, we came to this world. we live to love, love is to carry out, let the world be full of love, let the world is full of gratitude. our parents, not only because they brought us to this world, but because they are selflelove, has raised us up, the education of our life, our responsibility, share the burden, happy with our happiness. parents, is our life will always be the one, even if we always with gratitude.

There are many forms of life on earth: organisms, animals, plants, and human beings. Life is given to man only once. And there are many natural disasters that will destroy life. Since life is short and preeious, everyone wants to enjoy longevity.
The mode of life differes from person to person. A person's life may be one of great achievement. He may also lead a quiet life. A career man has a busy life. A self content man has an easy one. Yet everyone is writing his own life story with his actions.
The intelligent and diligent person makes his life full of vigor and vitality. He works and plays with zest. A lazy man's life is dull and spiritless. While in life he is lifeless.
As a youth, I choose to live a busy and meaningful life.
Everyone has his own ideal. The ideal may be a desire to acquire power and rank from a selfish motive. It may also be a desire to do something good to our society.
My ideal resulted from my knowledge about scientists and science. When I was a junior middle school student, I read a lot of books about scientists and inventors such as Edison, Bell, etc. And I was greatly inspired by their achievement. By and by I knew that the progress of mankind was brought about by compass, printing seismograph, steam engine, computer, space raft, etc. Science is a great force to push our society forward. And if a person makes contributions to science, his or her life will be worthwhile.
Now I'm determined to devote my whole life to science. I will work hard to reach the peak of science

The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people and is when all family members get together, just like Christmas in the West.
Waking up on New Year, everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper. People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, as they think "jiaozi" in sound means "bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new".
That Chinese people pay more attention to be polite, while it is different from other countries .And chinese culture is brilliant and they know how to use a brush to write
Now dragon is the symbol of the whole Chinese people.
Dragon is a animal worshipped by the Chinese people from the time immemorial. But what is it? No one knows.
Some people think that the Yanzi crocodile is the archetype of the dragon. However, most people hold that dragon is a combination of many animals. And the abilities of those animals have been collected to it. Wang Chong, once pointed that the horn of dragon liked deers one, the
What we cannot afford to lose
We cannot lose innovation
There is a wonderful word which expresses the most original motions and desires among human-beings. With solving any kind of imperfections, our world has moved ahead. This is the word “innovation” that we cannot afford to lose.
We chicaned every detail of the innovation. Thousands years before, we created fire when we took a stone to knock another one. Since Han Dynasty, four great inventions had been created and it is one of the greatest signs that China become to the ancient civilized country. And nowadays, thousands of software, products, architectures and public facilities have upgraded more than that about 100 years ago. So how did these happen? What will you do if you are not satisfied with your tools anymore? What will you do if old mode cannot afford to develop in a company? There is no doubt that we should innovate no matter where we are and what we do. Not because of the design itself, but actually for its intended purpose.
If there was no Apple, everyone could not imagine how to contact others easily and enjoy a better Internet surfing.
If there was no Microsoft, perhaps we still worked in a dim office and duplicate some troublesome documents. If there was no Newton, and no theory of gravity, maybe I will win the Nobel Prize like Newton rather than just standing here. I have heard that three apple changed the world. The first one seduced Eve. The second one awakened Newton. The third one was in the hands of Steve Jobs. We sort of think the innovation of the world began with apple. I imagine lots of people want to become another Newton or Jobs right now with just one hand to change the world, right? Have the innovation to follow your heart. It somehow already reflects what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
Via questioning, we can start to innovate. Via innovating, we can start to create better lives. No innovation, no improvement. No improvement, no success. And no success, no civilization. Now, our time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life! Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice! Don't let yourself down! It is the innovation that we cannot afford to lose!

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over theworld. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe andpoisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut downand waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, whereverwe go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence.
The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselvesand for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realizedthese problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by thegovernment. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will besolved in the near future and our home will become better and better.
This cartoon humorously presents a scene of a football game with the two rivals facing each other. The striker on one team is preparing to make a decisive shoot while the goal-keeper on the opposite team is posing for defence. However, under overwhelming pressure both of them are losing their confidence. The striker magnifies the goal-keeper in his mind so that chances of shooting in are slim. Likewise, the goal-keeper minimizes his own image as if he couldn’t defend the goal successfully.
Apparently, the purpose of the picture is to emphasize the importance of self-confidence in our daily life. On account of the quickening pace of life, competition goes increasingly fierce in all walks of life, imposing tremendous pressure on all individuals. The past few years have witnessed dramatic increase in the difficulty of examinations and employment. We must maintain powerful self-confidence and optimism in the face of challenges so as to survive and succeed. Suppose we are inclined to overestimate our rivals or problems and neglect our ability, we will become hesitating and doubtful of ourselves, unable to fulfill even a simple task. Therefore, it is necessary to embrace the strong faith that we are indomitable and invincible.
A case in point is the world famous star hurdler, Liu Xiang. He invariably imagines positively that he can win in every hurdle race, never shrinking in front of other experienced players. That’s why he works wonders again and again. As for me, I am participating in the college admission examination for graduates with thousands of competitors. Having prepared sufficiently for one year, I have powerful self-assurance that I can cruise to my dream university. As the saying goes, our only enemy is ourselves. Only by building strong self-confidence can we demonstrate grace under pressure and turn our dreams into reality.
it's generally considered that reading do a lot of benefit to ourstudents.not only can it make our after-school life more meaningful and l,but itcan expand our horizons.as a result, with reading more,we would grow into abetter person.

Dear:
The roods in our city are usually very busy .There are a lot of cars, trucks, vans and buses on the rood. So, we must obey the traffic rules.
As a driver, you mustn’t drive too fast, or you may not get home safely. Try not to work long hours, or you may be too tired and sleepy to drive. It’s easy to have an accident at this time .You mustn’t drink , either. It’s very dangerous to drive after drinking. Be careful when the weather is bad.
Obey the traffic rules, happy and safe every day.
Money is indeed important, but money cannot buy everything. A miser may think that “money talks,” but if you only give your attention to making money, you may lose many things, such as health, friendship and love. I don't think we should regard money as everything. Money is just a tool that can help us solve problems or enable us to live a comfortable life. What we should do is to use it appropriately and not become misers. This way, all of us can lead a happier lives.

My unforgettable experiences
I’m glad to be here to share one of my unforgettable experiences with you.
Once,we were practicing a dialogue. Several pairs had done it well. When I asked two students to do it , but one failed in talking. I was surprised, because she is a not bad girl. I thought she could do it well, although she didn’t raised her hand.
Why Her face became red and she was so shy. I think it’s very common that a student feels nervous in class. English is a foreign language. Our students are only beginners. Everyone may havetroubles in talking. It’s not a serious problem. The most important is what can we do when they feel nervous.
I also realized that she was nervous because she joined the class just a week ago. What should I do? I smiled to her and said,"Don’t be nervous, I believe you can do it well. Just have a try."But she still kept in silence. I had to let her sit down, but I said to her with a smile on my face, “Listen carefully and later try it again, OK? ” She smiled ,too. After another two dialogues , she raised her hand confidently. Did she do a good job? Of course!
Since then, she’s never nervous in class and seldom fails in talking. I think , as a student, she’s successful. As a teacher, I’m successful , too.
What’s more,I often say to my students, “In my class, don’t be nervous. Just try your best to express yourselves ,just to speak English loudly , right or false is not the most important, courage and confidence is the most important! Believe you’ll do better and better! ” I think my words can help my students keep confident. Let students to be your friends, let them study in the happy time not in nervous every day, please. Do you think so?
Thanks for your listening, thank you.
i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as thegreatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we standtoday, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as agreat beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared inthe flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the longnight of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred yearslater, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles ofsegregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negrolives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of materialprosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in thecorners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and sowe've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when thearchitects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution andthe declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to whichevery american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of"life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that americahas defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color areconcerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given thenegro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficientfunds."
but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse tobelieve that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity ofthis nation. and so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give usupon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierceurgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or totake the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to make real thepromises of democracy. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valleyof segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to lift ournation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.now is the time to make justice a reality for all of god's children.
it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment.this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pauntilthere is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three isnot an end, but a beginning. and those who hope that the negro needed to blowoff steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nationreturns to busineas usual. and there will be neither rest nor tranquility inamerica until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds ofrevolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright dayof justice emerges.
but there is something that i must say to my people, who stand on the warmthreshold which leads into the palace of justice: in the proceof gaining ourrightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek tosatisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterneand hatred.we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity anddiscipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physicalviolence. again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meetingphysical force with soul force.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must notlead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, asevidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destinyis tied up with our destiny. and they have come to realize that their freedom isinextricably bound to our freedom.
we cannot walk alone.
and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always marchahead.
we cannot turn back.
there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will yoube satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as the negro is the victim ofthe unspeakable horrors of police brutality. we can never be satisfied as longas our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in themotels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied aslong as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes hehas nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not besatisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousnelike a mightystream.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Today I,a high school student,am here to talk about how to believe in ourselves.
As we all know that life is filled with challenges which requires us to be confident enough to overcome them. However, most of students lack this ability for various reasons,so it is very necessary to solve the problem. Now I introduce some available tips:
First,we should do everything all by ourselves, that is to say,do not depend on others for no one would help you when you really need help. There is an old saying”God will help those who help them.”.Second,reading more books about famous people whose success comes from confidence.many a little makes great,as long as you stick to it,you will succeed sonner or later.Third, taking more activities as possible as you can,you will gain a lot from them.
That is all.Thank you for your listening.

They must see Americans as strange liberators. The Vietnamese people proclaimed their own independence in 1954 -- in 1945 rather -- after a combined French and Japanese occupation and before the communist revolution in China. They were led by Ho Chi Minh. Even though they quoted the American Declaration of Independence in their own document of freedom, we refused to recognize them. Instead, we decided to support France in its reconquest of her former colony. Our government felt then that the Vietnamese people were not ready for independence, and we again fell victim to the deadly Western arrogance that has poisoned the international atmosphere for so long. With that tragic decision we rejected a revolutionary government seeking self-determination and a government that had been established not by China -- for whom the Vietnamese have no great love -- but by clearly indigenous forces that included some communists. For the peasants this new government meant real land reform, one of the most important needs in their lives.
For nine years following 1945 we denied the people of Vietnam the right of independence. For nine years we vigorously supported the French in their abortive effort to recolonize Vietnam. Before the end of the war we were meeting eighty percent of the French war costs. Even before the French were defeated at Dien Bien Phu, they began to despair of their reckless action, but we did not. We encouraged them with our huge financial and military supplies to continue the war even after they had lost the will. Soon we would be paying almost the full costs of this tragic attempt at recolonization.
After the French were defeated, it looked as if independence and land reform would come again through the Geneva Agreement. But instead there came the United States, determined that Ho should not unify the temporarily divided nation, and the peasants watched again as we supported one of the most vicious modern dictators, our chosen man, Premier Diem. The peasants watched and cringed as Diem ruthlessly rooted out all opposition, supported their extortionist landlords, and refused even to discuss reunification with the North. The peasants watched as all this was presided over by United States' influence and then by increasing numbers of United States troops who came to help quell the insurgency that Diem's methods had aroused. When Diem was overthrown they may have been happy, but the long line of military dictators seemed to offer no real change, especially in terms of their need for land and peace.
The only change came from America, as we increased our troop commitments in support of governments which were singularly corrupt, inept, and without popular support. All the while the people read our leaflets and received the regular promises of peace and democracy and land reform. Now they languish under our bombs and consider us, not their fellow Vietnamese, the real enemy. They move sadly and apathetically as we herd them off the land of their fathers into concentration camps where minimal social needs are rarely met. They know they must move on or be destroyed by our bombs.
So they go, primarily women and children and the aged. They watch as we poison their water, as we kill a million acres of their crops. They must weep as the bulldozers roar through their areas preparing to destroy the precious trees. They wander into the hospitals with at least twenty casualties from American firepower for one Vietcong-inflicted injury. So far we may have killed a million of them, mostly children. They wander into the towns and see thousands of the children, homeless, without clothes, running in packs on the streets like animals. They see the children degraded by our soldiers as they beg for food. They see the children selling their sisters to our soldiers, soliciting for their mothers.
What do the peasants think as we ally ourselves with the landlords and as we refuse to put any action into our many words concerning land reform? What do they think as we test out our latest weapons on them, just as the Germans tested out new medicine and new tortures in the concentration camps of Europe? Where are the roots of the independent Vietnam we claim to be building? Is it among these voiceless ones?
We have destroyed their two most cherished institutions: the family and the village. We have destroyed their land and their crops. We have cooperated in the crushing of the nation's only noncommunist revolutionary political force, the unified Buddhist Church. We have supported the enemies of the peasants of Saigon. We have corrupted their women and children and killed their men.
Now there is little left to build on, save bitterness. Soon the only solid physical foundations remaining will be found at our military bases and in the concrete of the concentration camps we call "fortified hamlets." The peasants may well wonder if we plan to build our new Vietnam on such grounds as these. Could we blame them for such thoughts? We must speak for them and raise the questions they cannot raise. These, too, are our brothers.
Perhaps a more difficult but no less necessary task is to speak for those who have been designated as our enemies. What of the National Liberation Front, that strangely anonymous group we call "VC" or "communists"? What must they think of the United States of America when they realize that we permitted the repression and cruelty of Diem, which helped to bring them into being as a resistance group in the South? What do they think of our condoning the violence which led to their own taking up of arms? How can they believe in our integrity when now we speak of "aggression from the North" as if there were nothing more essential to the war? How can they trust us when now we charge them with violence after the murderous reign of Diem and charge them with violence while we pour every new weapon of death into their land? Surely we must understand their feelings, even if we do not condone their actions. Surely we must see that the men we supported pressed them to their violence. Surely we must see that our own computerized plans of destruction simply dwarf their greatest acts.
How do they judge us when our officials know that their membership is less than twenty-five percent communist, and yet insist on giving them the blanket name? What must they be thinking when they know that we are aware of their control of major sections of Vietnam, and yet we appear ready to allow national elections in which this highly organized political parallel government will not have a part? They ask how we can speak of free elections when the Saigon press is censored and controlled by the military junta. And they are surely right to wonder what kind of new government we plan to help form without them, the only party in real touch with the peasants. They question our political goals and they deny the reality of a peace settlement from which they will be excluded. Their questions are frighteningly relevant. Is our nation planning to build on political myth again, and then shore it up upon the power of new violence?
Here is the true meaning and value of compassion and nonviolence, when it helps us to see the enemy's point of view, to hear his questions, to know his assessment of ourselves. For from his view we may indeed see the basic weaknesses of our own condition, and if we are mature, we may learn and grow and profit from the wisdom of the brothers who are called the opposition.
So, too, with Hanoi. In the North, where our bombs now pummel the land, and our mines endanger the waterways, we are met by a deep but understandable mistrust. To speak for them is to explain this lack of confidence in Western words, and especially their distrust of American intentions now. In Hanoi are the men who led the nation to independence against the Japanese and the French, the men who sought membership in the French Commonwealth and were betrayed by the weakness of Paris and the willfulness of the colonial armies. It was they who led a second struggle against French domination at tremendous costs, and then were persuaded to give up the land they controlled between the thirteenth and seventeenth parallel as a temporary measure at Geneva. After 1954 they watched us conspire with Diem to prevent elections which could have surely brought Ho Chi Minh to power over a united Vietnam, and they realized they had been betrayed again. When we ask why they do not leap to negotiate, these things must be remembered.
Also, it must be clear that the leaders of Hanoi considered the presence of American troops in support of the Diem regime to have been the initial military breach of the Geneva Agreement concerning foreign troops. They remind us that they did not begin to send troops in large numbers and even supplies into the South until American forces had moved into the tens of thousands.
Hanoi remembers how our leaders refused to tell us the truth about the earlier North Vietnamese overtures for peace, how the president claimed that none existed when they had clearly been made. Ho Chi Minh has watched as America has spoken of peace and built up its forces, and now he has surely heard the increasing international rumors of American plans for an invasion of the North. He knows the bombing and shelling and mining we are doing are part of traditional pre-invasion strategy. Perhaps only his sense of humor and of irony can save him when he hears the most powerful nation of the world speaking of aggression as it drops thousands of bombs on a poor, weak nation more than eight hundred, or rather, eight thousand miles away from its shores.
At this point I should make it clear that while I have tried in these last few minutes to give a voice to the voiceless in Vietnam and to understand the arguments of those who are called "enemy," I am as deeply concerned about our own troops there as anything else. For it occurs to me that what we are submitting them to in Vietnam is not simply the brutalizing process that goes on in any war where armies face each other and seek to destroy. We are adding cynicism to the process of death, for they must know after a short period there that none of the things we claim to be fighting for are really involved. Before long they must know that their government has sent them into a struggle among Vietnamese, and the more sophisticated surely realize that we are on the side of the wealthy, and the secure, while we create a hell for the poor.
Somehow this madness must cease. We must stop now. I speak as a child of God and brother to the suffering poor of Vietnam. I speak for those whose land is being laid waste, whose homes are being destroyed, whose culture is being subverted. I speak for the poor of America who are paying the double price of smashed hopes at home, and death and corruption in Vietnam. I speak as a citizen of the world, for the world as it stands aghast at the path we have taken. I speak as one who loves America, to the leaders of our own nation: The great initiative in this war is ours; the initiative to stop it must be ours.
This is the message of the great Buddhist leaders of Vietnam. Recently one of them wrote these words, and I quote:
Each day the war goes on the hatred increases in the heart of the Vietnamese and in the hearts of those of humanitarian instinct. The Americans are forcing even their friends into becoming their enemies. It is curious that the Americans, who calculate so carefully on the possibilities of military victory, do not realize that in the process they are incurring deep psychological and political defeat. The image of America will never again be the image of revolution, freedom, and democracy, but the image of violence and militarism .
If we continue, there will be no doubt in my mind and in the mind of the world that we have no honorable intentions in Vietnam. If we do not stop our war against the people of Vietnam immediately, the world will be left with no other alternative than to see this as some horrible, clumsy, and deadly game we have decided to play. The world now demands a maturity of America that we may not be able to achieve. It demands that we admit that we have been wrong from the beginning of our adventure in Vietnam, that we have been detrimental to the life of the Vietnamese people. The situation is one in which we must be ready to turn sharply from our present ways. In order to atone for our sins and errors in Vietnam, we should take the initiative in bringing a halt to this tragic war.
d in student union and varies of association. but soon I realized that I do not make full use of my spare time so I got a part-time job to help a junior student with math lessons besidesi also took part in activities concerning public welfare. we taught the kids there who could not afford school I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us--future teachers. the enrichment of experience taught me the significance of modestyresponsibilitytoleranceand perseverance.
and now I have been here two years. recalling to the two years I think I have to talk about one thing--learning. learn how to study independently learn how to get along with others learn to love learn to… oh there are too much things we have to learn.
comparing with senior high school college is a rather different place. there aren't so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college you must think and study yourself so you have to learn and practice to control yourself.
another relationship in college is friendship. my roommates have lived two years with me. in these years they forgive my faults cry with me laugh with me play with me… they always stand with me and support me I have learned a lot from them. I love them all and treasure the friendship with them.
in the next 2 yearsi'll try my best to and make great contributions to society! that's my college life. I cherish all I have experienced in college. I love you my college!
that's all thank you!
