As we gather here today I take the opportunity to congratulate every student and teacher of this School/college a Happy Independence Day! We have assembled here to celebrate our 67th Independence Day. As a citizen of India, I am so proud to talk to you about my mother India. On the night of August 14, 1947, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru rose to make a maiden speech in New Delhi, “When the world sleeps, India will wake to life and freedom.” Yes, India became free from the bondage of British rule. Now, India is the largest democratic country in the world. The country’s strength is to find, “Unity in diversity”. But, there are stray incidents that test her secularism but the people of India are ready to sacrifice anything for the cause of unity. Today we remember the great leaders who gave their lives for the nation’s freedom and prosperity. Dr. B.R.Ambedkar gave the longest written constitution to us. The electric door guard has replaced the traditional "door lady" in a dormitory at Shanghai Songjiang University City, within the range of many universities.
In the future, more electric door guards will take the place of "door ladies."
The electric door guard operates under an IC card system, with students using IC cards to enter. Each resident student is issued an IC card with his/her personal information stored on it. Information like the card-holding student's name, major, grade, and even time of entry will be stored on their IC card. The door has also been equipped with a "digital eye" to take video 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
With the new "door guard" already on duty, students began to discuss the pros and cons of the latest renovation to their dorm in community forums.
Some complained that having to take their IC card everywhere is inconvenient, adding that the system is not always reliable. They noted times when the system failed to recognize them and they had to call repair workers to fix it.

在花园里他们俩发现了一只小兔，两人都想要。
你肯定见过草丛中晒太阳的小兔。
没什么东西比小兔子更可爱的，更富有自然情趣了，难怪他们两人都想要它。
男孩拉起了二胡，愉快喜悦的琴声，充满了渴望和激情，回荡在空中，小兔子听着这音乐轻轻摇摆，耳朵转向音乐，它喜爱男孩的琴声。
女孩也取出小提琴，拉出悠扬的旋律。
小兔子听了朝她跑去。
两人都全神贯注于自己的音乐，丝毫没注意对方演奏的音乐。
交杂在一块的音乐困惑了小兔子，它不知该朝哪走。男孩和女孩都不能将小兔子吸引过来，只好放弃，各自走开了，扔下小兔子独自一人。
然而倘若他们倾听对方的音乐，而不是各自为歌，那么结果会如何呢?
当我听到小提琴声响起，男男女女走道一起又唱又跳，乐声中充满了欢乐， 此时我也听见了草原上、山谷间、小河旁传来得我们本民族的音乐的回声。
音乐分你我，还是属于我们大家?
我想听的是二胡与小提琴的合奏，旋律与节奏和谐一致。
大家一起才能创造出新颖动听音乐， 只有在和谐中大家才能创造出富有神韵的乐声。
在温暖的阳光中，小兔子在等待着我们一起演奏，等待着交响乐开始。
他有必要再永远的等下去吗?决择在于我们自己。谢谢。
As students born after 1990, we have so many advantages. We are usually kind and helpful. When someone is in trouble, we always give him or her a hand. We are also energetic. We like to do sports and go traveling. Most of us can work hard in class and play happily afterwards. In addition, we are imaginative and creative. We always try something new and do everything differently.
On the other hand, we also have some disadvantages. Sometimes we can’t express our opinions in proper ways; sometimes we are a little overconfident. These problems may make us seem impolite.
