On a Saturday morning. I went to have breakfast. I felt there was a terrible smell and went over to have a look carefully. I found that there was a big pile of banana skins giving out the smell.Just then a young fellow holding a dustpan rubbish to walk towards here . He raised his hands, The big pile of rubbish was here. At once I went to him and said “Uncle , you can’t do like this . These things will rot very soon. It’s bad for our health and make the people fall ill.” However ,the man said “Everyone does so ,who falls ill,who will see the doctor.”
Looking at this , I remembered another act : There is a stream through our village. Over it there are two bridges .At the age of seven years old , I enjoyed the beautiful scenery under the bridge very much. It was the best place to swim in summer. But now the rubbish was getting more and more .Dish leaves,fruit skins,dead ducks and chickens….after rotting ,not only the mosquitos flew around but also the bad smell made everyone feel quite terrible.Though the stream was cleaned up several times, it’s still happening now. A lot of plastic bags always float on it .In summmer we have to go far away from the village to swim.
What causes this? Who is the devil?It’s the human ourselves. I have got to known from a book .The rubbish in the countryside mostly occupies the fields and damages the earth’s surface .It pollutes soil,wave ,atmosphere and damages our health. The adults often say “The body is capital.” But why are they able to make woollen cloth like this ? Does it affect everybody’s safe and sound life ?
Schoolmates, we are the host of society tomorrow . It’s our duty to improve and build the safe invironment.
Safety is in our hands .We must take park in more environmental protection activities, Plant more trees and flowers to make us live in a beautiful home with the blue sky ,blue water and green land forever.

In today's class meeting, I'm going to lecture on the topic of "environmental protection", why should I address this topic? Because there is no environmental protection consciousness, people today are a took to the streets, some of the domestic waste from time to time appear in front of our eyes, the garbage cans, chewing gum, glass bottles, and so on are scattered on the ground, "colorful and varied. Once seen by foreigners, thought we held in the heap garbage. So, I hope that through this speech, can let people have awareness of environmental protection, make our home better.
Many friends might say, "how can I make now people environmental protection consciousness." There's no point in past persuasion, punishment. The only way is to let people realize the litter how serious the consequences of, then, let me give you something about the consequences of litter: first of all, the waste will be filled with everyone's corridors, inconvenient, in walking next, mice, cockroaches, mosquitoes and other insects will be full of the whole city, and because by the garbage team full of trees and no nutrients can be absorbed to wither, the birds also came to other place to live, so that pests that have no natural enemies, you will be more rampant, after they ate the rubbish around, just to attack humans, civilian people fight pests, however, had to be eaten by the pest, and, finally, the whole city only tens of millions of pests.

The earth is so far the human know can carry only the planet of human life in the universe. Human life in the ball has a history of millions of years. In the long years, human rely on the earth's resources (air, water, sunlight) survival, reproduction and development, so, the earth is the mother of mankind.
The development of human in the long road, performance of the natural and economic development, has created a brilliant performance. But at the same time, because of the unreasonable development and utilization of natural resources, do not pay attention to environmental protection work, caused the global ecological destruction and environmental pollution. Now the world each year, 6 million hectares of land into desert, 20 million hectares of forest disappear in, there is a kind of species extinction in the average one hour. There is growing because of the destruction of the ozone layer, the greenhouse effect, use the earth temperature rising, the Antarctic ice cap began to melt, sea plane will continue to rise, many coastal cities in the world, islands and a large number of land, will be swallowed by the sea. This a series of environmental problems, not only affects the development of economy and the progress of the society, even threaten the survival of mankind, so take good care of the environment, has become a common concern to all mankind.
